Roshe is one of the most exciting Performing Arts schools and is the longest established professional vocational school in the area. For nearly 60 years Roshe has forged a unique place within the Performing Arts industry and have an unrivalled reputation.
With 3 Senior ISTD examiners, professional dancers and renowned visiting teachers from Professional Colleges, the Royal Ballet and the West End Roshe has a first class Staff with years of experience and a proven track record of success.
From the Tip Toes class for toddlers to the Professional Ballet and ISTD (DDI) Teacher Training classes a pupil can start at the very beginning and leave Roshe at 18 prepared for one of the best Colleges and already a qualified teacher. Nobody else offers the range and diversity of over 70 classes across our branches.
Roshe School dancersAdd to these the many Performance opportunities in Festivals, professional Shows, working with visiting Dance Companies and Professional Pantomime at the Hawth, Roshe pupils get a fully rounded experience of the world of dance and the Performing Arts, something integral and important in their training.
Children attend classes from all over the South East and classes include: Ballet (ISTD & RAD), Modern, Tap, Jazz, Greek, Musical Theatre, Pilates, Pointe, Contemporary and a Specialist Boys class. We are also proud to run our own Associate Class for pupils who are naturally gifted and talented in Ballet and these classes are taken by former Royal Ballet Soloist and Royal Ballet Junior Associate Teacher.
Roshe are proud of their success at placing so many Students at the top dance colleges and schools in the country (Roshe have built a unique relationship with many of the Colleges over many years) and therefore having so many go on to have careers in the entertainment industry, performing with some of the top dance companies, in West End shows and all over the world. Many have now gone on to teach and it is amazing how many past pupils are now teaching and running schools locally. Come to where they trained!
